Welcome to my homepage! I am a Mathematics master’s student at the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. My main interest is in probability theory. Currently, I am working on my master’s project under the guidance of Bhaswar Bhattacharya and Somabha Mukherjee.
In this project we compared various feature selection methods. We created two separate models with the best feature selection method for genomics and imaging data to predict survival time in LGG patients. We also employed stability selection in order to ensure robustness.
I worked on Cutoff Phenomenon in Markov Chains. This included reading from the book “Markov Chains and Mixing Times”. I also read the paper “Total Variation Cutoff in Birth Death chains” by Ding, Lubetzky and Peres.
My present research interests include estimation in various statistical physics models. I also study limit theorems of quantities arising from these models in high dimensions.
